Spentax Terms of Service

You must be at least 18, be able to enter into a contract and, if acting for an organization, have authority to bind it and use the data you provide. Keep your contact information current, secure your account and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You can open a free account without authorizing a charge. Available features depend on your plan, device, location and account status.

Spentax helps you track expenses, keep supporting records and, where available, share a personal or business profile with collaborators. The payer, profile owner and collaborators can be different people. A payment, referral or discount does not grant access to receipts. Profile permissions determine what an invitee may see or do. Check your authority and permissions before sharing. Revoking permission blocks later access in Spentax. Copies already downloaded remain under the control of whoever obtained them.

You retain your rights in your content. You authorize us to host, copy, process and transmit it as needed to operate, secure and provide the features you use, including carrying out sharing instructions and meeting applicable retention obligations. We may use service providers for those purposes. We retain our rights in the software and brand and give you limited, nontransferable permission to use the service for your authorized personal or internal purposes.

OCR, AI, categorization and matching suggestions may be inaccurate. Check dates, amounts, currencies, ownership and original records before relying on results for taxes, accounting, reimbursement or other submissions. Spentax provides expense organization tools. Seek tax, legal or accounting advice from your own professionals. Keep any copies you are required to retain.

Use the service lawfully. Do not upload data without permission, falsify records, introduce harmful software, extract other users’ information or bypass security, payment or access controls.

We may restrict access for security, fraud, legal obligations or a material breach. Where reasonable and lawful, we will notify you and offer an opportunity to address the problem. We may act immediately to protect people or the service. The Subscription Policy explains access at the end of a plan and how prepaid amounts are handled.

You may request account closure under the Privacy Policy. For purchases billed by an app store, cancel through that store and check the confirmation. Access to or closure of a business profile must respect the owning organization’s authority and other parties’ rights. Save any records you need before closing your account. Check the access and export period stated when you cancel or close it.

We will publish the updated version and effective date. For material changes, we will notify you in a form you can keep and tell you what changes, when and how to cancel. We will ask for new acceptance where required by law or agreement. A general Terms update does not by itself change the price, commitment or authorized charges of an accepted offer. The Subscription Policy governs billing changes.

If we materially remove an included paid feature during a prepaid term, we will tell you what options are available. If we end access to that feature without providing an equivalent solution you accept, the refund rule for paid service we do not provide applies.

Maintenance, connectivity issues and third-party failures can interrupt the service. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded. Mandatory remedies, liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and express refund, privacy and security commitments continue to apply.

You may raise a complaint with YOVIRT LLC and seek relief in a court with jurisdiction, an eligible small claims court or a consumer protection agency. You retain rights and remedies under applicable state law. If a provision is unenforceable, the other provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted.

We send account and security communications, verification codes, invitations and notices about the features you use. You can manage available preferences in Account, Notifications. Communications needed to fulfill a request or protect your account are separate from promotions. Promotional messages require the choices applicable law requires and provide a way to unsubscribe.

Providing a phone number or accepting these Terms does not authorize SMS. The SPENTAX 2FA program requires an affirmative choice and is governed by the SMS Terms. You can choose email verification. Security authorization does not include promotional messages.

The Subscription and Refund Policy forms part of the terms applicable to a purchase. Paid features are offered only when an offer is available to purchase. Nothing removes mandatory rights that apply where you reside.
